2018 World Club Championship

presented by GOLF Magazine

Qualification: Team Eligibility & Rules

The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, will govern play.

The Championship will be comprised of 22 teams to include the Host Clubs, Defending Champion and second and third place teams from the 2013 Championship and the winner of the Chairman’s Division.

Teams will be selected from GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Courses in the World 2013 and the Championship Committee.

Eligible Clubs must conduct an annual Club Championship for its members.

Each course will be invited to enter a two-man team of amateurs who hold a handicap of three (3) or better as of March 1, 2015 at the Club they represent.

The Championship Committee requests that the 2014 or 2015 Club Champion or a recent past Club Champion and a partner of his choosing be selected to represent their Club.

The top four teams in two rounds of 36 Hole stroke play qualifying will compete in the Championship Division Match Play Finals and the remaining 16 teams will compete in an 18 Hole stroke play competition for a 2016 invitation.
